For a beginner: setting up a combat interface. Part 1. Guide to the game Star Conflict.

This guide describes in detail about the combat interface, where to find the settings, which settings can be useful.

Combat interface:

  • The combat interface is a set of icons, scale scales for the hull's fortress, the amount of energy in the drives, the volume of shields, the lead marker, the highlight marker, the cursor sight, the indicators of damage caused and received, a tactical map, a list of ships in battle.
  • The combat interface is edited in two settings sections. In this guide, I will describe the first section, available for customization only during battles.

Where to find settings:

  1. Go into battle (for example, Quick battle):

Configure the combat interface. We are going into battle. Star Conflict

  2. We went into battle - press ESC. on the keyboard, call the game menu:

Configure the combat interface. We call the menu during the battle. Star Conflict

  3. Select the menu item "Interface View":

Configure the combat interface. Select the item

  4. And we see a terrible pile of windows and settings (do not be alarmed, chaos is a special kind of natural order):

Configure the combat interface. Window combat interface. Star Conflict

  5. The block with numbers [1] [2] [3] [4] gives you the opportunity to configure up to 4 combat interface options:

Configure the combat interface. Window combat interface. Star Conflict

  6. Let's try to move the frame with the minimap, click on the "Current Element" selector:

Configure the combat interface. Select the

  7. In the drop-down list we find the option "Minimap", click on it. The minimap frame is highlighted with a yellow frame:

Configure the combat interface. Select the

  8. Drag the minimap with the mouse to the place we need on the screen:

Configure the combat interface. Drag the minimap. Star Conflict

  9. In the Interface Settings window, click the "Save" button, then "Cancel". Now our minimap is on the left side of the screen:

Configure the combat interface. Drag the minimap. Star Conflict
  10. Thus, you can move all elements of the combat interface (except for the Hull, Speed, Shields and Energy scales), and also disable their display by unchecking the box in the block with the heading "Show element".

Important interface elements:

  • Allies - displays a list of allies in your group, who are in battle, who are killed, who are not in battle, who are carrying a bomb.
  • Opponents - like allies displays a list of opponents.
  • Group - works in PvE mode, displays a list of players in the battle, even if you did not collect this group.
  • Progress bar - displays the scale of capture / interception of beacons and similar objects.
  • Positive effects - shows a list of positive buffs (auras of allied engineers, command ships, your own auras).
  • Negative effects - shows a list of negative buffs (auras and effects of the enemy, for example, ECM ships).
  • Progress bar - displays the scale of capture / interception of beacons and similar objects.
  • Gun - displays which gun you have installed (sometimes you forget which gun was on the ship, going into battle, so you can see it even before choosing a ship in battle).
  • Special module - displays which special module is installed on the ship, as well as its degree of readiness for use.
  • Missiles - displays which missiles are installed on the ship, their remaining quantity in the clip, as well as the degree of readiness of the new missile cassette.
  • Active modules - displays the readiness of your modules for battle, and also on the icons of the modules you will see if you can get modules of "volume" application for any purpose under the gun or not.
  • Game alerts - in this part of the screen you will see messages about the successful planting of a bomb, or, conversely, about failure.
  • Experience - this block will show whether you or your team were able to destroy the enemy / object or not. It is very convenient for pilots of the role of Saboteur in the Battle for the Sector mode to understand if there was an explosion of textures on the enemy Dreadnought or if you need to add more bombs.
