In this article I will describe step by step what needs to be done in order to share a link to an item or a ship in the game’s chat, and I’ll also tell you how to copy text directly from the chat.
Why do you need to be able to share links to your items? The answer is simple - the competent wing leaders in the Special Operations
, Experimental destroyer
, PvE groups want to know who will fly with them, on which ship, how the ship is equipped, which seed chips are installed on it.
And they demand, for example, to show the ship and the gun in a personal message, or, for example, as I do - also to show which Seed-chips are installed.
Such requirements in the chat look like this: SO need more gunship fighters PM me your ship 10/12 - that means that the leader of the wing needs few gunship fighters and he wants to be sure that he adds the player with the ship of this role to the group
or: Experimental destroyer group, seed-chip in PM - that means that the leader of the wing wants to see your chips in PM (PM - private message).
According to the following algorithm, you can share a link to the ship, gun, chips, modules in private messages to players or chat channels in the game Star Conflict.
In Battle or in the Open World, press the [Enter] button, open a chat. From the hangar, we may not press Enter. I show an example on a hangar.
We hover over the icon of the ship or module that we want to show to other players.
Hold [Shift] on the keyboard and click the [LMB] (Left mouse button) on the item's icon, the chat window opens and a link to your item appears in the input line.
Press [Enter] on the keyboard to send a message with your link.
Why do I need to be able to copy text from game chat in Star Conflict? Options 2:
- You want to share someone’s phrase with another player, or keep it to yourself, and retype laziness.
- You communicate with a foreigner (agree on the sale or purchase of something) and will use a translator, for example Google Translator
If you are wondering how to copy text from chat to SC, then read the instructions below:
We simultaneously clamp the following key combination:
[Shift] + [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [~]
The phrase pulsates in red - it means it's time to press [LMB] - Left mouse button. The text is successfully copied to the clipboard.
If everything works out, we can paste the copied phrase into the same chat window or into a text editor.
Hold [Ctrl] and press [V], to paste text, the result should be as on the picture.
